TOURISM ACADEMIC GROUP is an initiative of the FTRP. TAG intents at a threefold system in TOURISM Education. The Tourist, the service provider and the local community (the host) needs awareness and education. Today with the monolithic changes in technology and social thought it is more significant than ever for Tourism education to consider the lineament of the learner and practice social needs. Tourism is primarily an individualistic activity with its quality reckoning on the education and motivation of its players or stake holders. Sustainable Tourism is not demarcated to providing employment, the importance of knowledge and education has to be understood. Tourism has the caliber to ameliorate the lives of individuals. It is an industry that permits us to portray our bold culture to the rest of the world.
Remember that the sun, sea, sand and snow offer a fulfilling experience but tourism goes far beyond with the motive to ensure that the activities are safe, secure and seamless which is all the reason why we advocate for sustainability through economic, social, environmental, educational and cultural development based on human rights values.
